Swiss watchmaker MIDO has introduced its latest creation, the Multifort Skeleton Chronograph, a timepiece that seamlessly combines technical precision and modern design. Equipped with the robust and reliable Caliber 60 movement, this model highlights the brand’s dedication to innovation in mechanical watchmaking.
Available in two striking versions—one in sleek gray and the other in bold blue—the new release takes inspiration from the sharp, dynamic lines of supercars. The fully open-worked dial allows wearers to appreciate the intricate movement in motion, showcasing MIDO’s attention to mechanical perfection.
The X-shaped bridge structure securely anchors the three chronograph counters, while the tachymeter scale on the flange enables precise speed measurement, enhancing its appeal as a racing-inspired chronograph. Additionally, the hands and indices feature Super-LumiNova®, glowing white by day and blue-green at night, ensuring superb legibility in low-light conditions.
The 43mm stainless steel case includes polished push-buttons that provide intuitive operation of the chronograph functions. The transparent sapphire crystal case back offers a captivating view of the skeletonized oscillating weight and circular-grained bridges that house the Caliber 60. This movement delivers up to 60 hours of power reserve and features a Nivachron™ balance spring, offering enhanced resistance to shocks, temperature variations, and magnetic fields for long-term precision and durability.
